The Fight Against Wildlife Crime:

The Raptor Persecution Blog has today published a resume of the situation in relation to bird of prey persecution and we recommend that anyone who has not already done so read it.

The blog outlines the ongoing fight to see the law obeyed and enforced where it is being flouted. It is shocking in its presentation of dithering, obfuscation and delay.

The damage to OUR natural heritage resulting from rampant criminality by some and inaction by government and its advisors is dreadful. We should not however forget the damage to those who campaign against this crime in the heart of our society. People’s health has been ruined, careers have been destroyed, threats have been made and violence has been used against ‘wildlife campaigners’, who are actually just people who want to see the law of the land obeyed and enforced against common criminals.

We should never forget the pressure that people who campaign for wildlife are under and we should be very grateful to them for their work.
