Yesterday morning officers from North Wales Police Rural Crime Unit and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) executed a warrant at a location in rural Snowdonia location where they found 34 dogs and two ferrets. A number of dogs were removed and are now in RSPCA care.
The investigation is underway which will focus on the condition of the animals and whether a court order preventing keeping of dogs has been breached.
Because this is an ongoing investigation we will not be commenting further at the moment but this case is important for reasons other than just the welfare of the animals removed on this particular occasion.
We will not be accepting comments on this post at this time.
