The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) is appealing for information after a lurcher-type dog was found wandering outside Karglen storage facility in Doncaster Road, Doncaster on Sunday morning. The dog, which is now in the care of the RSPCA, was covered in a mixture of old and fresh wounds including a large leg wound and ripped testicles. The RSPCA believe that the animal had been used for fighting or badger baiting. It appears that the dog was dumped over night and the RSPCA are keen to trace the person responsible for this and would like to hear from anyone who has information as to who owned this dog or if they saw anything suspicious in the area around the time he was found.
Anyone with information should contact the RSPCA appeals line on 0300 123 8018.
