Although our blog has space for comments most readers tend not to post. The majority get the blog emailed directly to their in-box which means they would need to launch a browser to post anything. A Keeper’s Tale has changed that. We received a single comment from WildMattCross on the 7th of February suggesting the blog and its contents were pure invention. As is oten the case with shooting supporters like Matt anything that in any way shows their ‘sport’ in a poor light is inevitably ‘fake news’. Matt also posted his views on Twitter. Interestingly since Matt’s post we have received a deluge of comments from people unhappy with what was said in the blog. We haven’t published them because once the vile abuse and the threats of violence and rape have been removed there is not a lot left. Recently Oliver Mundell MSP raised the matter of people being unpleasant to gamekeepers in Scotland. Perhaps young Oliver might like to consider the vile and in some cases probably criminal behaviour apparently originating from supporters of the shooting industry. Raptor Persecution UK is currently covering the same thing and there is plenty of evidence to see on Twitter and Facebook. If Oliver would like to get in touch we’d be happy to point him in the right direction.
