A Keeper’s Tale Part:3

The real problem with the countryside today is no one listens to the people who actually know what to do and how to do it. There is no way you can allow vermin like badgers, foxes and hares to run wild. If you do everything else suffers. The townies will soon start shouting when they get TB outbreaks from all the badgers and when a child is taken by a fox. If they can take lambs they can take babies. The countryside is the way it is because of a lot of hard work by keepers over the years. It took years to get it this way and it breaks my heart to see it thrown back into the past by stupid rules brought in by a government that does not understand or care about the countryside and country people. England is not so bad because the government there have a better understanding of country ways but Scotland is a nightmare. The SNP1 just want to take over the land and turn it into some sort of country park for their weird supporters to play in. The Green scum2 are even worse.

We need Boris3 to close down the pretend parliament in Edinburgh and put wee Nippy4 back in her box. There are decent people in the Conservatives who understand how the countryside works and how it needs to be run. They appreciate the work real keepers do and back us up when antis start sniping. Unfortunately most of them are not in Scotland. The ones up here have no idea about how the countryside works. Without us there would be no countryside as it is now. No carefully managed moors, well kept woodlands and lots of wildlife. Organisations like the RSPB5 and Packham6 and his mates are not interested in birds at all. All they want is eagles, harriers and hawks. These birds do nothing but damage. They take lambs, sheep and lots and lots of smaller birds that’s why they were removed by years of hard work. The reason there are so few waders is due to the harriers killing all their young. Some farmers in Scotland are ruined because of the damage eagles do to their stock. Fisheries are at risk from ospreys, cormorants and goosanders but the government does nothing. Country estates, country jobs and the country way of life are being destroyed and it’s all down to the SNP, the Green scum and their RSPB mates.

I am away from full time keeping now but I keep in touch and still follow country sports and do my bit for the country way of life. I see some of the guys I used to work with getting really down about the future. The constant pressure of new rules really wears them down but they fight on. The countryside needs help all over Britain but in Scotland it needs the SNP gone. Then we can get back to restoring the balance and kicking the antis into touch. I hope keepers will go ahead with their protests and bring Holyrood to a stop. The new party planned by the SGA7  needs to get up and running fast so there is an alternative to the SNP and the Green scum in the next elections. We need to get behind the SGA leadership and C4PMC8 to ensure that we keep our way of life and our countryside the way it should be a not the way the antis and SNP want it. But whatever happens we know the right way and we’ll stick with it regardless. The countryside is safe in our hands.
