Like many of those who are interested in wildlife crime we have been waiting for the Werrity Report or the Grouse Moor Management Review Group to give it its full title. It was commissioned by the Scottish Government, has been a long time coming and has finally been released at a time when it is heavily overshadowed by the opening of the UK Parliament, the fuss over Scottish Independence Referendum and Christmas. Two of our contributors are based in Scotland and will be blogging extensively on Werrity…but not until the New Year when people might have more time to consider its implications.
